For a stent that has been produced before 2004 you must present the stent’s special identity in order to verify its absolute compatibility with the magnetic field.

The general rule is that pacemakers cannot be inserted at a magnetic field as there is a risk of disorganization of its operation with the possible consequences for the patient.
However some modern pacemakers are compatible with the magnetic field provided that the expert technician of the pacemaker has adjusted it appropriately.
